Literature Searching in PubMed
You will receive an introduction to PubMed (Medline), the largest, freely accessible database in the field of medicine and biomedicine. Using examples, we will show you the structure and search options of the database.
General information
In our course you will:
- learn the basics of literature search
- learn the search function in PubMed and optimize the advantages of MeSH terms (medical index)
- narrow search results using filters
- edit search strategies manage search results and save them permanently
- set up automated notification with new search results (alert services)
- obtain full text
