SchreibXplosion - an evening all about writing
Thursday, 6 November 2025
Oerlikon Campus
Would you like to take your writing to the next level – whether academic, creative, or critically reflective? How can you develop a compelling thesis that is both academically precise and relevant? What opportunities and risks does the use of AI in academic writing entail? And how do we deal with bias, social expectations, and language when writing about sensitive topics?
Whether you are just starting your master's thesis, putting the finishing touches on your first dissertation article or want to try out new forms of writing, this night offers the ideal setting: with practical workshops, a data visualization contest and an informative and controversial panel discussion on objectivity and bias in academic writing.
👉 Special added value: By participating in a workshop and panel discussion – as well as by entering the contest or, alternatively, submitting a short essay – you can earn one ECTS credit for Transferable Skills.
We look forward to welcoming you to our events.
