This panel will critically discuss the advantages and challenges of publishing models, the evolving landscape of academic dissemination, and the potential of community-driven approaches to foster a more inclusive and equitable system. The speakers include a former Wiley editor who resigned in protest over industry practices and three distinguished researchers from the University of Zurich.
